Sgt Bradley Johnson is the new Weapons Discipline Lead, we have asked Sgt Johnson to tell us a bit about himself.
“My name is Bradley Johnson, i have served for 18 years and I am a Sgt in the Intelligence Corps. Prior to joining the Army, I practised Kickboxing for several years. Throughout my career, I have experimented with different martial arts, including Karate and Brazilian Kickboxing, but I didn’t really find my style, until I discovered the traditional Korean martial art of Kuk Sool Won (KSW). I have been practising KSW since 2017 and gained my 1st Degree Black Belt in 2021. I have entered a number of UK and European KSW championships over the years, to varying degrees of success, winning Golds, Silvers and Bronzes. I currently practise with sword, staff and short staff and have had a chance to try traditional Korean archery. In my spare time, I volunteer as an assistant instructor at my local KSW school.”
We are pleased to have Sgt Johnson on board and look forward to seeing Weapons back in action soon.
